they told me that if you stay on shabbos a late checkout till 6 pm is 50% after 6pm is full charge. does it make sense for a frum owned hotel to do that? are people checking in on shabbos that they need to accommodate?

6pm is motzei shabbos, till when u want to stay ? amshinov time ?

80k Hilton points are worth at best imo 400$ while the average price for a night is between $600~750 so points are useful!
The hotel itself is disappointing? Why?
From what I have heard it's the most luxurious hotel in Jerusalem /Israel

He said it's disappointing not to be able to use points effectively.

So would be a brand new Holiday Inn if they built one in Jlem. It's a bit overhyped.

Same reason every other hotel deflags in Israel.

What a shame Pritzker punted on making it a corporate owned Park Hyatt.

just speculation here, but perhaps having a foreign owner, this time will be different?

Na, Israeli hotels have little to gain by being part of a foreign chain
