Asked rep to check several dates none of which showed up for her. Then asked if she could acertain if there are any dates with availability on the calendar. She put me on hold for 2 min then said, "we don't have it in our current inventory but be sure to check back soon"

And you are seeing inventory on the Hilton website?

Hmm...they also have availability on hotels.com that night so they haven't blocked rooms to outside travel agents. Does UR book other Waldorf Astorias? Is this an issue of Hilton having a relationship with Citi and AMEX?  It's the only thing I can think of...

WA Jerusalem rarely appears as on option on UR. It does show up occasionally, but then quickly disappears.

Do you recall if they eventually opened the space?

They did after a month or so. All of 2018 was blocked so I was happy to see they opened up midweek and hopefully soon they'all open all of it.

From what in reading Trump is considering staying here on his visit (May 22).
If anyone has a reservation I think they may cancel it so make a backup!

Interesting that some summer dates (during the 3 weeks/ 9 days) are only 82k points per night. it wasn't that way last year.

In case you guys are wondering what they get reimbursed for per night when they have met the occupancy threshold. Over Pesach they got $674/night for a points booking.  This showed on my phone when I clicked into my reservation on the app.  I'm still so curious to know what their reimbursement rate is when they aren't so full...
