again. when i checked out the manager told me it was never available at all. and was sold out the whole time
i know that wasnt true, because when i checked in it was available

Bottom line is that it probably wasn't WAJ lying, but rather CRONY, like a real crony...
But I'll be nice to CRONY because he's probably just a petulant child.

So you are saying because they are Jewish owned that they could lie ?

Of course they can't lie but he workers aren't all Jewish and agreed not all can be trusted.
Why are you getting all defensive unless what u did wasnt all kosher or true.....whole thing sounds fishy  ,as u had said u got meals cheaper then they officially charge and now saying a whole story where it's what u claim they said one thing and which they claim they claim they didn't and personally I think it's alot of talk or alot of "stretching" the truth on your part.
Why out of the blue would they offer the upgrade unless it was a different room then u thought .
I also got an email from Hilton to upgrade (when available) and when I checked in before yom to they said nothing available and don't know why Hilton sends those emails without checking with them, so maybe u could yell at Hilton for me for offering paid upgrades when hotel says nothing available.....

the meals was a different issue. they didnt want to honor it at first.
and i had written email from them and i had to show it to a few different managers.

i didnt say any email about a room upgrade. im talking about when i checked in, and when i checked out.

So my opinion is that the room itself wasn't available and like I said for a fee they would have upgraded some1 ,as I have experience getting a standard  room opened up for me so can book a weekend night because they upgraded some one else off of it ,so even though said not available for points or weekend nights it can become open and I'm system it still will say unavailable. Do u have proof that the room was available abesides the guy saying u can upgrade?

A couple of years ago they told me in writing that as a DIA I'd get a suite at checkin if available.
I checked in late at night and they said no suites available. I pulled up HH.com and they were selling multiple base suites. They had to huddle in the backroom and talk it over for quite a while, but they did give it to us in the end.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

But the manager said he was never offered it and apparently he was.

i pm"d the general manager who said they dont negotiate at all with the meals.
the general manager included all the people from the catering side on the email.
and with them i negotiated down to $90 a meal

Who did you get that in writing from as the website clearly states by my diamond benefuts "upgrade to a preffered room which may include suites  executive floor or next best available room."
