Why isn't this place mehadrin :(
to be honest, I am not an expert when it comes to all the different kashrut types, but I know this hotel is certified by the rabbinate of Jerusalem and I know it has a higher kashrut level than the King David

Seems to be semi Mehadrin a la Citadel, probably don't want to attract the yeshivish crowd. Not gonna work!
Well, I definitely saw a very yeshivish crowd so go figure.

No; as long as there is a superior king available.

Why isn't this place mehadrin :(

It's better than Mehadrin. It has rabbanut but also has a another hashgacha that is by Rav Borenstien. The meat is all Rubin and the owner is very makpid on kashrus, he himself is very frum. I have friends that will eat there and won't eat Mehadrin meat.

We had a deluxe room it had room for a roll away. (Just barely) it was a big room but they put so much furniture in it. I got free breakfast as a Diamond. I also got upgraded from superior king to deluxe twin.

Parking is so convenient and free. You take elevator right to the room. Overall, better than any other hotel I have been to. I hope they keep up the good work.

Are you sure rav borenstien gives his own hashgacha to the hotel? Or as part of the rabbanut?

parking is not free at , but the place is unorganized yet so no one was there to ask you for any credentials.

I was just gold and got free breakfast, I think everyone gets free breakfast,

food is really sub par,

the hotel doesn't really have a lobby, the entrance has a boutique hotel feel do it,
the only place to hang out in the the courtyard,

the rooms itself call absolutely gorgeous,

I think as far as lobby/food/ambiance the David Citadel is way better than the WA.

Not at Waldorf hotels. Most don't give - eg Rome, Waldorf Astoria. Free breakfast is only benefit of Gold (and Diamond) at Hilton, Conrad , Doubletree and HGI

Interesting, I never heard that.
So Waldorf's are excluded from honoring Gold bennies?

Hmmm. Sounds very interesting. Maybe because they just opened?

I called HHonors first and they said officially it's not included but each property has their other policy and I should call them directly. It makes sense cause most hotels in Jerusalem give breakfast for free to all guests.
