Room was dated and small compared to the Waldorf, breakfast and service was way better at the Waldorf.

I stayed there 3x last 12 months, never had an issue.
Maybe just bad luck?

u should come back to the Leonardo plaza rooms, I think chumbawamba is still playing from when they renovated… (I still love the place and will probably go back)

Broken lights which they sent maintenance who never arrived
TV system down hotel wide until fixed
Toilet wouldn't flush

Could be, but I checked out at 23:00 and was offered nothing other than an alternative room (and they applied FHR credit to room service which they claimed is normally only for F&B outlets), so service recovery is non existent as well

For what it’s worth I recently stayed by the inbal and was very impressed (though it’s pricey, about 20% less than Waldorf). They say they will have renovated all rooms by march. But they choose to not have a desk/chair in the room so u need to work in the lobby…

You can get yourself a (private or public) taxi for less than 100 USD...

Definitely changed to the Waldorf. Was very unimpressed with the Citadel.
