There are no secrets. Unfortunately the kashrus here cannot explained all regel achas, if you have specIfic questions you can ask and I can answer what I know but I'll tell you this much,  deciding that a certain establishment is good when you usually don't eat that hechser can definitely not be decided on a 20 word text unless you have other info also

It's not a secret that most charedim don't eat Rabbanut Mehadrin meat.
That's all.

Read, he wrote the Standards.
they are 100 Percent Excellent standards.
Only thing now is do you feel comfortable with him, do you trust this mashgiach.
I think a phone call or asking around is enough for that.

but again, his standards ? read them in Dan's Exchange.
pretty clear.

If you eat Rabbanut Mehadrin then it's excellent standards.
But since most people don't, I have to disagree.

Most people that eat in sheyan/Keyara IMO would NOT eat plain Rabanut mehadrin meat...
That is one of the items the KFI had to deal with...

Thanks.

FWIW...no idea where this leaves me as I still don't even know who to talk to about this stuff :P
In glad you got all that in writing-
Because I know many ppl that spoke to him and he omitted the Rabanut mehadrin part.

(Btw some claim that the meat is not really Rabanut mehadrin- but machpud, But that's a whole dif discussion...)

If it was machpud then why wouldn't he write that instead of rabanut mehedrin?
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

In some people's opinion machpud is a whole lot better there should be no reason for him not to say that

I just ate by a big rav's house who equated eating rabbanut mehadrin to eating Ou, so for all those that don't eat rabbanut mehadrin, do you eat Ou?

And just because someone said that doesn't mean everyone has to agree with it

And I've heard from people working in OU America that OU Israel isn't the same standards. Do any of these comments help anyone?

I've heard the same.

I'm pretty that "big Rav" was referring to OU Israel.

I think Fleishigs is different though. The OU wouldn't put their hechsher on meat nearly as quickly as they would on a Hersheys bar. I know many people who eat rabbanut mehadrin for milchigs but not for fleishigs.
