What he means is use Barclays arrival
Points towards the hotel purchase

Correct.
Eating there, comes up on cc as hotel purchase, which is free with Barclays points.

Thanks. Would the $100 credit on the Citi Hilton Reserve card work too?

How does the WA restaurant charge show up as on a Citi credit card?

Thanks. Would the $100 credit on the Citi Hilton Reserve card work too?

It is different if you get a charge from the restaurant.  It clearly says that in the card fine print that they don't count as a "hotel" charge unless it's affiliated with a room (although you can get these points also for money spent in banquets charges from hosting a simcha or conference at an Hhonors hotel).   If you're staying there, even on points, put all your charges to the room though then when you pay it at checkout you would get not only all the HHonors points for all those expenses PLUS the 10 pts/$ you'll also get from the Citi Reserve

Yeah but I think he's tryng to see if he can get this $100 credit just from eating at their restaurant without staying at the hotel.  I don't think you can but D93 if you do get away with that let us all know!   8)

Im trying to book the WA for 2 adults and a child and it doesn't show any point options, it only shows when booked for 2 people. Will there be any issues if I book as 2 and will they give breakfast for all 3.

I guess I would say +0.5.
We stayed one night in late July on a WA free night certificate. I, too, was unable to book the room for 2adults+1 child, so I booked for 2 adults, emailed the manager, and they said it would be fine.   They did charge for breakfast for my son; I think it was about $35, which, IMO, is very reasonable for what is a ginormous and delicious feast.  (Parking was also free.)

That's not a standard room.

Interesting.  We did the same in early July, but I called reservations and they not only booked me for 2 adults + 1 child, they also added an additional child (infant) to the reservation (and room was setup with a cot + crib).  All 4 of us ate for free.

That's great.  I guess YMMV but the general idea is that the hotel is pretty generous and accommodating.
