sukkos an pesach are now blocked out by the hotel (at least for a standard room) look upthread.

Maybe last year but I just checked and the website and as of now I could book all 10 nights of Pesach at the base points (80k a night or 64k if you are diamond buying in 5 night increments) and if they have any weekend nights available at their standard rates they will let you use the certs.  The HHonors people explained to me on the phone that the hotel can't even see if you used points or a free night certificate.

Why would you think it would make a difference to the hotel if it's a points or cert booking?

The hotel likely gets paid the same either way.

I don't.  Just trying to make super clear for people that are considering getting the Citi card or wondering if they'll be able to use their certificates that if you see a King Superior room available for 80k (even during Pesach or Sukkot) HHonors will let you use the certificate to book a room.

How long does it take for a free weekend certificate to post to your account?

All Pesach is available right now.  I think the Seder is like $250 pp so maybe just go for Chol HaMoed or last days! ;)

Actually now no more standard rooms left over Pesach 2016, so you can't use the certificates any more.  Guess people were having fun over Sukkot and made their reservations for Pesach!

Hi,

Does anyone know if there are discounts on Shabbat meals or at the restaurants for Diamond members?

Thanks!
