I would say that it is the best POINTS hotel in Jerusalem. There is also a ritz near Tel Aviv that is probably better

You found the Ritz nicer than the Waldorf? Very Surprised.

I guess it's a matter of taste, as they are very different styles.

I preferred the ritz overall. They provide an outstanding atmosphere, great beach, nice rooftop pool, very good upgrades and some.

Well from people who have been to both I hear that the WA wins hands down.

I would say that it is the best POINTS hotel in Jerusalem. There is also a ritz near Tel Aviv that is probably better
in regards to activities etc indeed the Ritz wins but I don't think it's as luxurious and gives the 5* service like the WA does. The WA is still a hit.

I've been to both a couple of times and not sure which I would say is better. They both have pros and cons. Service is definetly better the WAJ but as far as upgrades I've gotten beautiful upgrades at the Ritz.

Does the free breakfast at the WA put it over the top?  I just
Hate to pay for that at the Ritz.

It definetly is a great breakfast, but then again I've never got any major upgrade in the WAJ as I did in the Ritz. So it all really depends what means the most to you.

Waj is top breakfast but don't compare service in Israel to worldwide

Israel service is lacking due to who the local neighbors are.

Good point

And I'll tell you all a true story
Middle of the day someone from the group decided to go up to the room to get something

Opened the door
And to his surprise he hears a loud recognizable noise fsssssssssh the toilet flushes....

The help needed to relieve himself
And deposit a considerable amount of number 2 Down his bathroom toilet and leave his room with a wretched but well noticeable stench!!

What would you do when your paying $4,000+ a week if this happened to you?

No it does not IMO. I was happy to pay $20 bucks for the breakfast at the Ritz. That's a great price for their breakfast. Sat out viewing the marina, some amazing ice coffees, awesome spread of food, and during holiday season UN-BELIEVE-ABLE kids activities during breakfast. Read my mini-tr in the ritz thread.
