liked the day one much better. It's a buffet. It's a little annoying to keep getting up and filling your plate though especially when you have to fill for your kids.

Is Shabbos morning breakfast enough or do you recommend paying for lunch?

on a short one maybe. But breakfast ends at 11 so let's say you finish eating at 11:15 unless you want to buy takeout I think you will need to eat again. So we did lunch at 2:30 (it ended at 3) And we liked it much better than dinner.

But lots here just do the breakfast.

My suggestion is to do the breakfast and get some takeout to eat for later in the day...

I’m going to be doing dinner. What were your thoughts? How was the selection?

We very much enjoyed the Waldorf Shabbos dinner and lunch. Stingy that they don't give wine other than some syrupy stuff.
@farmbochur was with us and skipped lunch, so he can report on how that was.

Yom Tov dinner and lunch seemed like leftovers from Shabbos lunch, verrrrry disappointing.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Skipping shabbos lunch is a great way to save some $$$. The breakfast menu is definitely designed to accommodate that plan - wine, challah rolls, salads, fish, kugel, etc (but no meat). I was happy with our decision. I'd do it again if/when we go back; just bring snacks for shabbos afternoon if it's summer time.

How late do they have it? And do they stop replenishing the buffet? My concern with not ordering lunch would be that the breakfast would be gone after shul.

$400 a night (or less) is available online. I'm guessing he just wants to book as a diamond.
