Anyone have an update on kashrus since last bruhaha? Particularly does anyone know what the hotel holds/uses for shemittah and if Pesach will have any higher certification? also potentially looking to buy nights in april if someone has.

Tried calling the mashgiach to get answers from the source? I think his number was posted here in the past, and that he's responsive.

Mashgiach told me yesterday quote ď כל הפירות והירקות במלון בכשרות הרב אפרתי שמיטה לחומרה בלבדĒ
The situation does change so confirm with him before.

3) Are there staircases to the 5th floor and up or do u need to use the elevator?

What's with motzash checkout? Is that still OK? How long do they give you to check out after Shabbos ends?

Hey was at the Waldorf a few times in the past month for Shabbos.
Diamond got me nice upgrade (most recent 1 bedroom suite) free breakfast (which I used as my Shabbos day meal) and $25 credit which I used toward my Friday night meal. Loved the addition of the pool and shvitz. Friday night meal was great lot of bochrim unlimited house wine. and checkout MS was 30minutes after shabbos was over..
Great experience much better than the aging plaza. food at plaza better hands down.

I think Dan's question is if MS checkout is guaranteed?

For example at Hilton TLV they have been giving it since the beginning of covid because the hotel wasnt full (to say the least). But it's not a.policy so when they are at capacity even Diamonds need to check out during Shabbos (or at least free up the room(

will probably cancel over weekend, lmk. rooms are about 4712 or less for the 8 nights. meals are like 220 each (165 kid) with first seder $320. comes ut to about 1800 if u want all meals per person but can mix and match.
