My understanding is that this is not required by Rav Efrati but I may be wrong about that. I think it was mentioned here before.

This is the only rabanut teuda I've seen across all of Israel with shmita lchumra.

When did the chef leave?
Is the food still better than the WAJ?
https://www.timesofisrael.com/world-famous-chef-shalom-kadosh-seriously-wounded-in-attempted-robbery/
seems around 2021, i was there for pesach this year and the new chef led all the meals. there was a lot of good lamb (hard to ruin), but missed some of the signature stuff from Kadosh, esp his incredible date charoses. Unfortunately, haven't eaten at the WAJ in like 6 years to compare, but from my recollection the plaza food is still better, though WAJ gave more/better wine.

Haven’t ate there recently but it’s always been better.
Some say the inbal is really tasty, but i havent seen any real source saying they are mehadrin/mashgiach keeps it like mehadrin.

PUTPAC?

It is but all the ingredients are Mehadrin(which is what the WAJ also claims) I don’t want to go over this whole debate now but you can easily speak to the Mashgichim for more details .- They are very accommodating with info.

And as always ask your LOR

Why can't you book yourself?
And why would you want to eat there?

From what I understand, the Plaza is better and is cheaper.
We just bought take out from Hadar Geula for friday night.
The WAJ is obscenely overpriced and all of the Friday night food was just bad. The Shabbos lunch food is also obscenely overpriced, but the food is better.

Can outsiders reserve the Plaza for Shabbos meals? Is there any reason to reserve now, for Aug?

We just bought take out from Hadar Geula for friday night.

Was there any issues keeping the food hot? Any tips on what to buy from Hadar Geula, if we decide to go the takeout route?

We survived with room temp food to save $1,100.
Just bought what looked good to me. Honey salmon, mousaka, sesame chicken, kugel, and challa were good. Meatballs and shnitzel were meh. All in all, certainly better than the hot WAJ Friday night food we had the week before.

Tried going to Goldy's as well up the block, but while they let me into the store at 3pm, they wouldn't let me buy any prepared foods as they were closing. They insisted on throwing everything they had into the garbage, but they sold me a container of chatzilim that was very good...
