Yes. Bonkers pricing, no way to justify it.

Anyone know current Friday Night and Shabbat Lunch pricing?

Tell him to go to the citadel. 500 nis or 550 for outsiders kids are less.

OUCH!!!
Hotels have a monopoly on Shabbos meals as Israel doesn't allow kosher restaurants to be open on Shabbos, even with prepayment as is done outside of Israel.

But at least Hilton Gold/Diamond get free daily breakfast there on awards. If you can find award space that is.

They are expensive but some of them are worth it IMHO.

There are also cheaper hotel options.

WAJ may have been worth it pre-COVID. But the food went way downhill, at least last June.

Which hotels are better?

if i search 6 nights and i see rate starting at 95,000 show up, that means its avalable for that rate for those 6 nights? i dont have that many points in my account right now, so afraid to transfer then get stuck with all those points that i cant use.

its weird bec im also searching different days seperatly around these six nights and its coming up 247k or even sold out.

I don't give critics or grade restaurants, but was way better than 5, and worth every penny.
I paid 1060 ILS for 2 ppl and they didn't charge for my 4 years old daughter and the 1-year-old baby.
I wasn't there for the day meal but it was cheaper than Friday night meal.

i was there in aug thought the breakfast( besides for the staff being overwhelmed) was almost like pre covid. you can still sit and order pretty much whatever you want.

my last day there they started using these tablets to take orders which made it much easier for the waiters (once they figures out the system).

Also, I remember the breakfast 3 years ago and it wasn't that good. This time it had many improvements.

Talking about Shabbos meals.
Breakfast was close, though the staff was very overwhelmed and the ready food was not as good as it was. Didn't have tablets in June.

When did you go? Sounds like they may have lowered prices since June? And hopefully improved the food.
