Data point : the hotel is cracking down on 2nd guest bookings on points/fnc
One broker was doing lots of bookings and advertising in many places cheap rates (based off points ) for specific dates almost half of what hotel was showing.
The hotel and many travel agents got upset and are now putting a stop to this.
Also the Ritz is involved as their gm is the old Waldorf gm and still have contact with each other. so from what I heard they also may or have already stopped doing 2nd guest bookings.
Last week I know of people who got rejected from both places
As if there is so much points availability....

There's a lot going on right now and hotel is trying to see what next step would be.
They may do what Hilton tlv does and if ah doesn't come they will strip person of the benefits (free breakfast, upgrade , late checkout)
for now they are checking all 2nd bookings especially if same account is doing it for multiple stays for others and collecting names for a possible investigation on account activity.

Anyone there recently for Shabbos? How is the food?
Do I just pay for the Fri night meal and the Shabbos day is included as free "breakfast"?
TY

I went with a friend in March and he said the food is much better now, including a full dinner buffet in addition to served food.

Depends if you want fleishigs or not. The Shabbos breakfast is fairly weak, but there is wine and challah.

Trying to figure out if the Shabbos day breakfast is a reg "Seudah"?

(Was in diffrent hotel years ago and shabbos day breakfast was the "seudah" and not a reg breakfast meal)
IINM you have both. First breakfast until 11 or so. Its basically breakfast, with wine and challot available. You can make a seuda out of it.

From 12 or so you also have a fleishig meal available for a fee, IINM

Yes, noticeably weaker breakfasts at both WAJ and Ritzaliya when I was there in March.
