I'm looking to book a chosson a night in a hotel the night of his wedding what's a good hotel?

Any Jewish ones that give breakfast etc.

Also a nice touch (as someone mentioned above) is too order the couple breakfast. Cafe K is in midtown and delivers. They even have brownies

$600 + per night for that one...think it's out of his range.

This may sound crazy, but I would give a shot to Priceline or Hotwire, sticking to 5* category....as long as you're in Manhattan, doesn't really matter what neighborhood you're in (can't wait for the flack on that comment....) You can probably get a nice hotel that has more recently opened and isn't crazy occupied just yet.

When are you getting married? If there's time, why not open an SPG card for chassan and for kallah and stay wherever you want?

Excellent idea. The sign-up bonuses between both will pay for even a Cat 7 hotel in NYC -- Even the St. Regis! Now that would be a lovely place to stay...

But IMO, kind of a waste of point that could be leverage much better to stay in a Cat 3 or 4 property on vacation at some future time...

+1 to the Hyatt. They could have their pick of the 3 top level Hyatts in the city for 1 card, and have the option of staying 2 nights or saving the 2nd night for another time/place.
