what's up with everyone hocking negative....nobody here is claiming to be an expert in anyway...do you not understand what the idea of a forum is? to express opinions and discuss back and forth....you don't have to listen to our advice and we're not even offering any....just discussing why we feel one way or another about a particular stock....

If you think online shopping is the growing trend, than companies like ups and fdx should be a your pick

you are right, just meant to say that it would be more exciting if you discuss options, versus if wallmart is rigging it in or not.

you're right...had you put $ into FDX several months ago...you would have made about 50%....as the economy recovers and business picks up shipping will increase...

more exciting as in gambling exciting? picking options the day before they expire is probably worse than gambling.

A good read for anyone interested to learn/start investing: 'A random walk down Wall Street' by Burton G. Malkiel.

I believe Google is very undervalued right now. BTW, the cool thing about this thread is that in six mos. you can look back and point out how big of a guru you were. On the other hand if you messed up someone else can point out how big of a fool you were.
not necessarily TRUE one will delete his bad picks lol

not necessarily, options can be used in many ways , can be very conservative if sell covered calls in the money or aggressive if do naked  calls out of the money , plus many other variations  , depending on your investment style ,strategy and temperament , options are a great vehicle to limit risk or increase reward via additional risk

I dont disagree, I was referring to what he said here:
How about discussing options for tomorrows expiration day, and then well aee if you know what you're talking about. Like googs option, their stock is crazy volatile so its mamesh hard to predict unless you really know the stuff.
That is not an investment strategy by any means.
