Converted Chase Card not honoring 30,000 bonus points offer

I have 2 Chase Freedom cards we received after Chase converted our Chase cash back rewards cards into Freedom cards. I requested that we get get 30,000 bonus points that we never received as a sign up bonus and they denied it on 1 of the cards completely and gave me 10,000 points on the other. Here are the response to the denial of the points. The request were sent via secure messages. Anyone have any suggestions.

That's pretty standard. You won't always get even the 10k in that situation

Like bubbles said, Its pretty much standard that they will match within 90 days. After that time, they almost never match

Just take a look in any thread discussing chase matching and you will see.

I have. With an old Washington Mutual card that converted to Chase.

I didnt convert the card. They automatically converted it for me. I could have cancelled the card and reapplied when they did that in 2010. I didnt and then a reapplied for the card with the $300 bonus and they denied it because I already own the card. My wife and I each have the card and they applied 10,000 points only on one of the cards. Should I leave it at that or is there anything I can do?

Sure! There's something you could do. 1. Close cards. 2. Reapply again. 3. Get 60,000 bonus points. 4. Enjoy it!

Have people had success cancelling and reapplying. How long does it take? I had a $30k limit on the freedom card and just split it with a new sapphire card? Will I still be able to get the same limit?

My suggestion is you should be very happy with the 50k you got. Nothing more to do about it.

Yeah. Unless you received a targeted offer for 75k give it up. Chase stopped matching to targeted offers awhile ago
