I have 2 Chase Freedom cards we received after Chase converted our Chase cash back rewards cards into Freedom cards. I requested that we get get 30,000 bonus points that we never received as a sign up bonus and they denied it on 1 of the cards completely and gave me 10,000 points on the other. Here are the response to the denial of the points. The request were sent via secure messages. Anyone have any suggestions.
Thank you for your follow up messages. I received both
messages and sending one response. I apologize for the
delay.
I understand you are inquiring about matching a new
account enrollment bonus. I have verified you have enjoyed
the benefits of the Chase Freedom with Ultimate Rewards
since 11/29/2010, which is beyond the 90 day window to
match a new account offer. I understand you may be
disappointed and I am sincerely sorry for any confusion.
Please know that we will consider reviewing the terms of
other offers you receive in the future.
We are sympathetic with your position, however we must be
consistent in applying the terms of our contract. To make
exceptions would not be equitable to our other
Cardmembers. We hope, therefore, that you can understand
our position. Because you were not extended this
promotional offer it can not be applied to your account
and we consider this matter closed.
It has been my pleasure to assist you. If you have any
further questions, please reply using the Secure Message
Center.
Thank you,
