Bob Turner Runs for US Senate

Rep. Bob Turner announced today he's seeking Sen. Kristen Gillibrend's NY senate seat, since his congressional district will likely be eliminated in the redistricting process. Is he stupid? Does he think the entire New York state cares about Obama's middle east policies?

if his seat is getting chopped anyways, what does he have to lose? true in ny, his odds are stacked, but it's worth a shot
