Amex Hilton Surpass card

The amex hilton surpass card advertises a priority club pass. THen it says it charges $27 per entry. Is this a different type of priority clube membership than the platinum card?
Does anyone know if additional card members also get the pass?

There are different types of PP membership levels.  The Hilton Surpass card gives you the generic PP membership which includes no free visits.

Now that Amex Hilton "Ascend" and "Business" cards have 10 free Priority Pass lounge visits each year, I am curious if anyone knows if they can only be used by card holders and AUs or can the 10 free visits be applied to non card-holding guests... can all 10 be used at once...? tia.

Just got offered 150k to upgrade to surpass from the lower level card. I just downgraded a few months ago, after I got the bonus last year. Any risk in upgrading now?
