Im not sure if KSML is at fault. It's my understanding that in the competitive market out there airlines refuse to pay anything more than peanuts for kosher meals. But that meat and wine did look incredible.

I don't understand why airlines don't sell premium meals. I'll possibly pay to be served real food (ksml premium) on a plane, as would many.

The extra revenue isn't enough to make the effort worthwhile

They already offer multiple meal types, don't they? For all I can, they can serve it before/after the regular meal service. It could bring in some revenue and add incentive to fly that airline.

Its nearly impossible to make something good and fresh and have it served while maintaining kosher standards throughout the process. It would basically require a full kosher kitchen on the plane (read: not happening).

1. Why don't they sell premium non-kosher meals?
2. I'm not sure you're right, even in the KSML dept. they aren't all created equal. Hermolis is typically edible...

1. I don't think the non-kosher meals are half as bad as the kosher ones. HelpMe?
2. After going to yeshiva in Israel for 2 years almost everything is edible to me.

not true, I heard they pay a lot, at least in europe, with a minimum of €25 just for a stupid snack.
