i am trying to book a ticket from LGA to CLE with avios for the coming sunday 6/17 and there are no seats open, and the next open seat is moday at 6pm!
what are the chances of it opening up? and what is my next best/cheapest option to travel?

airtran x fare? (student fare) age, i am but what are my chances on a sunday to get a seat on standby?

and what is the baggage rule on BA award ticket thru AA? i remember seeing somewhere here that sometimes theyll give it for free

Why would they give you free luggage. They won't.

Maybe if you pay the taxes with AA Amex card you'll get it. Not sure though.

they would give free because BA has free luggage or had... i cant find the thread but theres a whole thread on it how ppl got for free and some had to pay

just booked a flight for gimmel tammuz direct eze-ewr for 50k BA from 34 MR!!! (103$tax) this was a major steal!!!!!

When did you book the AA? Might be worth paying the redeposit to book BA...

I think he means that he booked an award ticket with BA miles on AA metal.

I thought he was asking if he can switch an award using AA miles to a new award using BA miles. If he's asking about modifying the BA award (AA metal), I think that would depend what changes he's looking to make.

$40 or the fees you paid, whichever is less for redeposit

my question is if i need to extend my ticket how much will it cost?

$40 award change (redeposit?) fee. If the taxes are less than that you can cancel the award online and forfeit the taxes, the miles will be redeposited to your account and you can them to rebook.

You can change it for $40, and maybe even ask them to waive the fee.
