BA.com Award Search Help Master Thread

I have looked a bunch of routes and it seems like availability is always scarce online when using Avios through BA to Book Domestic tickets on AA.  I am I better off calling BA?  It seems like even if the availability shows for a saver ticket on AA that it may not show on BA's site.  Has anyone else had similar experiences?

If your searching a ticket that has a stopover it may not show up on BA. Additionally, if you haven't noticed yet BA doesn't have the best search engine, nonetheless if its available on AA.com you should be able to book it over the phone with BA if it doesn't appear online. It seems like a few of these topics exist already can someone consolidate them?

Either Monday eve or Tuesday 5:30 am flight
And return on Thursday eve later then 2:20?

Well in my phone browser its giving me an option to buy a few flights on the 27th thru aa.com.
Idk if that's called availability  but I think so.

In order to book AA flights via BA miles it has to be available as an AA SAAver award (not standard awar, and not paid).

After 11:59pm local time (when holds expire) or any other time (that someone can cancel or revenue management decides to open up seats).
Yes, as long as the flight isn't close to a sell out.  And even if it is it is very likely to open on the day of the flight.

not sure if this is always true, but I have been looking on the BA website for Avios availability on 9/27, and it opened up yesterday (about 35 days before the flight)

If you are asking about booking an aa flight on ba,  some times there are aa flights that show up later on ba but  there are also aa flights that care available on aa.com but not ba.com.  sometimes if you call up ba they will give you the flight but there have been times ive called and was told the flight was unavailable.
