I am trying to book 2 tix using my avios points from lax-nyc on April 6.
There are no direct flights available using milesaaver. How do I get the stopover flights to show? Tia

As I mentioned before in this thread that BA only shows the first numerous flights available and they neglect to show later ones even though they are truly available as a saver award flight from AA. Note that some BA reps are clueless and first think that if it doesn't show up on their side that it must not be available. Demand to speak to a supervisor and before you know it they'll come back saying that you're right and it is available. Before calling them get from the AA site the exact flight info.

Having the same issue on a DFW-LGA flight for March 25th. looking to fly in the late afternoon -which is available on AA- but it's not showing up on BA because there are so many earlier flights available. I thought I remember someone mentioning a workaround to get BA to show the later flights...Do I really have to call?

I used AA mileage to book a regular American Airlines flight from Dulles to LAX. Can I use Avios to upgrade from coach to First on my American flight?

I would guess, no.

Lihalacha Vlo Limaaseh:
I see on AA this flight as Economy Mile Saaver.
US 3885
1:40 PM PHL
3:08 PM CLE
Operated by US Airways Express-Air Wisconsin  Aircraft: CRJ Booking Code: X
Total Travel Time: 1hr 28min Cabin: Economy

However does not show on BA. Tried the week thing, still not showing. At this point would I call them or am I missing something?

Trying to get AA flights for tomorrow to show from IAH -> LAX.  I see 2 MileSAAver direct flights on AA.com, but nothing shows up on BA.com

Am I doing something wrong? (previous dealings with BA.com have always required a phone call because of AS flights).

PUTPAC.

Yup (actually did that, but ran into a time conflict after 20 minutes on hold), so was just wondering if it was something I did wrong (so I could fix it) or if it's their site.

Thanks

Didn't look, but often within 24 hours it's YMMV

Oh, just noticed the flights in question are on American Eagle Airlines.   Would that disqualify from Avios redemption?

(general question BA lady on phone can't find the flight...transferring me to sales now)

Edit: Nevermind, sales guy was much more helpful.

That is no different than any other AA flight.

Didn't look, but often within 24 hours it's YMMV

I have been trying to book flights for Pesach (week of spring break/easter) and availability has been really rough. I have been checking 2-3 times a day and noticed that plenty of times, flights pop up as available for just a few hours. Check back at least twice a day

I've been looking for availability for a weekend trip JFK->MCO. (Either Fri-Sun or Sun-Mon)
See tons of economy availability (checking aa.com) outbound but nothing inbound on Sun or Mondays.
Checked out of TPA as well with no luck.
Do they open up at all a couple of days before the flight like United?
Is it possible to book an Avios segment from FL in Apr/May?

Thanks, I'll keep trying. I gather the availability on aa.com is generally more trustworthy than ba.com?
Any reason to check the latter?
