Looking to book ord-lga on the 11th, aa shows saver availability for the 740pm flight but it doesn't come up on ba. I tried calling and they said there was no availability?

I'm looking for flight on Air Berlin JFK to Israel through DUS or TXL on Dec 17/18. I see availability to JFK to DUS and TXL to TLV. How much more Avios is it to add segment of DUS to TXL? Thanks!
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

Not for the saver awards. Greyed out from the 26th-30th.

So I should forget about traveling on the 29th although I see availability got better-they added another first class seat. Will they open up more seats closer to the flying date or I'm risking it and I'll end up paying for last minute by having to make other reservations? What would be my best option I have a lot of UR and MR points. and delta points

Does BA charge surcharges on flights from TLV to Europe on Nikki?

Don't have personal experience, but since it's a subsidiary of AirBerlin, I would think it's the same fuel charges (once again- personal opinion :) )

I am trying to book TLV-NYC via DUS on airberlin. found same day availability but can't get the  site to pair them. does this have to be done via phone? and will the German taxes fall off once they pair it for me?

I'm looking to fly from JFK to Berlin on AB in Business class using Avios. Right now it says there is only 1 seat available on the flight I want. Do more seats usually open up or this is it?

Can someone explain to me what is going on here?
I found an AB flight direct from MIA-DUS in J on AA.com.
I can't get it to show up on BA though. Called in and they said they couldn't see it either.
So apparently this is a known AA.com glitch and they are working on it.
AA sometimes shows phantom availability on AB flights.
QF is where you can find accurate AB availability.

a couple of reps from BA confirmed to me that just because flight appear on AA.com does not mean they are avaiable on BA

why are we assuming that BA has to "match"  AA availability??

Because ab releases the same award space to its partners. why would they be different?

Be aware that when searching for flights before moving credit card or Starwood points, ba.com will sometime misrepresent availability. If you search for yourself from an ab flight from JFK to TLV (or vis versa), it will often say that "8 reward seats available" (or more or less). This availability can not be relied on. Make sure to search for flights including all your family members before moving points. For example, ab  only has 2 reward seats from any German destination to TLV in August. If it says more are available, better double check before moving points.
