I did have another question. Does anyone know, if you cancel and then reinstate, is their additional fees besides the yearly fee?

IME i never had any yearly fee. Just have been going six months at a time.

I mean a connection fee or something like that. If not, then I don't care if I cancel. I can rejoin whenever I want. So it's a good threat to make.

They may have a connection fee, but one should never pay for it.

With all my cancellations and six month plans I wasn't ever charged an activation fee.

OK. They called me. They offered me a refund and they would charge me around 90+ for the year. I said all my friends got 6 months for $25 so forget it. She then said I could have 5 months for 25. I took it. My lease is up in Dec so I don't need a year now anyway. I'm getting a nice refund. After the refund I'm telling them to delete my CC so it doesn't happen automatically again next time. Then I'll see what they offer. All of this from the advice of you folks so thanks a lot.

Happy you were able to get back a refund! Now when you use XM, you will have to think of Chuck and Marco.

Try calling and saying you saw six months. May take some HUCA or persistent "canceling" but should work.
