I wrote my brother a check from an account and told him not to cash it until tomorrow.


     
My account had $2,000 in it and I had just deposited a check for $900 from the Chase App. I got an email it was accepted.

        It hasn't cleared yet since my available balance is still $2,000.

          He cashed the check today.

                                            Is it going to bounce?

if you deposited the check before 11 PM then it should not bounce. if the bank that he deposited it is not chase or other banks that have next day availability then it for sure won't bounce.

Yes, it shows my balance including the deposited check. I hope it all went through ok.

Chase usually clears checks next day unless it's a large amount. They also give you $200 immediatly.

They also clear large checks the next day on accounts with a pattern of this.
