If $1 coins were replacing $1 bills, then they'd probably be distributed by banks, not sold at face value (with free shipping) by the mint.

I would love for me to come back. OTOH I would hate having to carry coins in my pockets...
Are they REALLY doing everything they can to save money and the only thing that's left to do is replace bills with coins and then they'll get out of the hole?
How much will they save already?

Did they use a major shipping company? Or a small company that this was a large stake and thus are lobbying?
