Would not worry about it now , "if" it happened it will take  a very long time to merge them ( untd merged with CO  in May 2010 AND  a A.A. US AIR will take longer ), I do not think us air can get it done , US AIR tried to do same thing when delta went chap 11 ,yes   some of the unions say they approve of a take over because, a.a must cut expenses and they will not have jobs , they have not much say in it  and they know  that us air will also cut   and maybe more  more. It only depends on  how the "creditors" will come out better

Wow, so were would this airline wind up? If its actually US doing a takeover and the new airline stays in *A, that leaves OneWorld with no US Airlines. And that would put an end to the cheap short haul flights on AA using BA or LAN.
