Maybe the question should be is the transfer of points to another program considered a sale by the IRS?
I just found a new supply of forks!

Last time it took me 40 hours to transfer TYP to flying blue. Will it take longer now with the holiday and weekend? Or is it automated?

Could someone please chime in on how I can transfer TYP (that I earned from multiple Citigold personal checking and savings and CitiBusiness checking and savings accounts) to airline or hotel partners?  I keep being told by reps that I can't do it because they were not earned on credit cards.  Is there a way of which I could access these points for transfer purposes like a credit card or anything else?  I have a lot of points that I don't want to liquidate into gcs.  I'd rather use for travel.  :-\  TIA

Get 25% bonus Flying Club Miles when you transfer your ThankYouŽ Points to Virgin Atlantic by August 23rd.

ETA: I see now it has been available for a while, so it's probably posted.

SQ suites is not hot. SQ economy for 20k RT is not bad.
