Do TY points from citi gold checking accounts still not transfer to airlines, I saw that used to be the rule, is that still true?  What can I do with them if they cant?

If I have Prestige and then get Premier.

I then transfer points from Prestige to Premier.

Do those transferred points have a 90 day shelf life? Or are they good until I do something with the Premier?

Would like to know the answer to this too as I have to get rid of Prestige in a couple weeks.

I cancelled my Prestige and kept the premier. 2 Citi reps told me I have 60 days to use the points from cancelled card, otherwise they'll expire.

Strange that on the thankyou webpage, under points expiring soon, it didn't list any points expiring, so not sure how accurate the info that I got is..

Out of sheer curiosity, any specific reason - unless you missed the 2015 airline credit - why you don't want to keep the card open ?

bolded shouldn't make a difference..

he opened 2 so I'm guessing he will keep 1 only

or he would rather close both and keep $900 in his pocket.

HH has been instant for close to a year now from what I know. Good datapoint though as I had known AF to be 1-3 days.

By mistake I transferred TYP from my account to my spouse's Krisflyer, instead of my own.
(Yes, it was an honest mistake.)
What can I expect next?
