In order to use the Points Transfer feature, you must be a ThankYou Rewards Member with a ThankYou Member Account ("ThankYou Account "), and have a Citi ThankYou Premier, Citi Prestige, Citi Chairman, Citi ThankYou Preferred credit card enrolled in ThankYou Rewards (" Card Account(s)"); if you have only a Citi ThankYou Preferred credit card enrolled in ThankYou Rewards, you are only eligible to transfer points to TrueBlue.

Are shared points treated like taxable points or can you share points and then transfer to airline?

Taxable points?
points earned from bank account signups are taxable per Citi and not transferable to Airlines at all. Only for GCs or travel spend on Citi Travel Portal.

Update: I shared points earned on Preferred card (my daughter's account) to Premier card (my son's account) and was able to transfer them further to Airline mileage account.

Just got a 60k bonus for opening CitiGold account. Does not show up as transferable to airlines in my TYP account. Is that the new normal?

Was always this way. shared points are not the same as points earned from checking bonus.

Would that work for points earned from a checking account bonus?

Has anyone tried booking air @1.25/TY point with the Premier card and then refunding the ticket? Is this a way to turn TY points into Alaska Air for instance (assuming they offer the travel bank to miles deal again.) If not, I think I'd still transfer TY points to Alaska Travel Bank.

Hasn’t the 1.25 towards booking benefit  been discontinued ?

So @Dan brought this up in his recent interview with Ami magazine saying "it turned out to be false".

I want to set the record straight: it was NOT false.
It was true that Citi had communicated this internally to its customer service reps (possibly to prepare them for the upcoming change), apparently before it was  formally finalized, and the arrangement with Avios didn't eventually materialize.
Other DDF'ers called in at the time and were told the same information by Citi TY reps.

Other than that, how y'all doing?
Love me or hate me. I still love you.
