Probably meant to others FF account
from DDMS: The first and last names on both the ThankYou Member Account and the participating travel loyalty program member’s account must match in order to transfer points using the Points Transfer feature.

I just found a new supply of forks!

It's too bad that ty points earned as a citigold customer can not be transferred. Only 27k out of over 100k are eligible for transfer. I guess i am back to redeeming gcs.

???

If so:

AS will merge with DL.
Emirates will offer TWO bedrooms in their next iteration of the A380.
AMEX will have a BA transfer bonus.
A domestic airline will increase the cost of a 25K round trip domestic ticket.
AA will begin collecting YQ.
AMEX Platinum will add multiplier categories.
AS will become a transfer partner of Citi. Or. Chase. Or Amex.
WN will begin flying to Canada.

You heard it here first!

This is depressing. I hope you're not prescient.
I remember when a coke was a nickel, and you could buy VRs in OD.

Where did you see this? You can combine your points into your TY Premier card account and transfer it from there.

QF would be an awesome partner
Not likely to happen.

If they come out in the open, and start comparing themselves to any other program, people will see their true face.

QF is the worst FF program out there.
Their partnership with EK didn't help them at all, especially now that they added YQ to all flights, and most places their saver flights are more expensive than EK standard.

Unless I'm reading this wrong, you need to complete a form and present it in person at a GA office in order to redeem a GA award.

Obviously it's great to have more options, but you already could redeem for 1.6 towards AA/US, which you earn milage in top of, and book for any name, with the Prestige.

Yeah, looked that way to me as well, unfortunately.

Also, most of their long haul flights from anywhere other than Asia seem to be codeshares.

It's an Asian flight I'd want to redeem for anyway. Specifically, CGK-NRT.

Dan clearly stated on the main site that points earned from checking are not eligible for transfer. I have a ty premier card (used to be citi amex platinum) but moat of my points are from checking/citigold relationship. When I went on site I was only allowed to transfer 27K to airlines out of over 100k pts.

What's really interesting is that AA is not a transfer partner.

There is no wiki and I was unable to follow the discussion on the lest 2 pages, so pardon me if this is covered somewhere in the thread.

I have a Plain Old Citi TY card, which is ineligible for transfers.  Is something exciting going on with TYP? Should I try and get upgraded? Or should I rather focus my spending on Amex, M&M, Etc.

What's really interesting is that AA is not a transfer partner.

AA wants people to sign up for AA cards, not thankyou cards.
