I'm looking to book jfk-lax late June, early july.
According to expertflyer.com, there is a few avbl seats on MileSAAver Award, with a stop (in Dallas).
What does this mean to me in terms of miles?
Also, how do i book a flight with a stop via ba.com?

every segment is calculated as an individual trip

doesn't make any difference if its one or two tickets, they take your bags at the first airport and check them all the way through. Remember if the first leg is business to first u get 3 free pcs of luggage which can be cheaper than paying for checked luggage.

So your saying that if i send it to my last destination even if its not officially a stopover? (since according to ba, it's two different flights)

Its a glitch. It means the elite security & check in lines.

Bags is a big ymmv, some tix show 2 pc allowance & some don't. If yours does u can try to get it honored.

I never got it. In fact when I book with avios for an AA flight I have to call to put my Aadvantage Gold number in to get free bags

That's not direct. you see, its a stop in DFW.
Anyways, I think its the best I can do to get over there. Its 25k avios.
But the real problem is.... I'm flexible with dates, but noooo availability for the summer....
BA rep told me it might open up later. Who knows? I hope he's right.

No, looking for the easiest/cheapest way NYC-EGE, and that route with AA looks the best.

I have always been getting priortiy access when booking on AA with BA miles. Love the glitch! So does priority access usually comes with free bags? Never heard of that...

Priority access only gives you priority at the security line (which is often more crowded), nothing more!!
