I don't really don't like doing this, but my Antivirus subscription is about to expire. Anyone know the best "after rebate deals"?

Trend Micro free after rebate from Staples.com through 3/31.  You can choose to have a check mailed to you instead of a Visa card during the EasyRebate process.  If you have Chase UR, buy it through the UR Mall for more bonus points.  Check the T&Cs of the rebate, you may still be able to get multiple rebates.

People sell the downloadable version on ebay for about $1.50.

Depending on which state you live in, its not always worth it to buy the box version just for the points bec tax will knock out the whole profit margin. For example,   In NJ tax is 7%.

Personally, I bought a few using a coupon so it came out worth it. (The rebate process is very easy)

On a side note, if you purchase the downloadable version,  you will get a verification call from staples to verify your info. They had a problem with people stealing cc's,  placing orders,  and then filing for the rebate.

I bet LE didn't try tracking down where the rebate checks were sent and/or who cashed them to nab the CC thieves.
