How to beat Alternate Side/street cleaning ticket in NY?

Just came across this.

All you have to write is that ticket is defective.

Wow you must have had trouble falling asleep going back so far in the thread!
 That ticket for $35 was long paid for they didn't buy any of my excuses as far as I can remember,i don't think it was dismissed.

Just got in the mail a bus lane camera ticket for $115 at Nostrand and Ave D.

The bus lane is in effect until 7pm and the ticket was issued at 6:58:43PM!

How can I get this ticket dismissed based on the time being so close to 7pm? I recall seeing elsewhere that within 5 minutes, tickets are not issued. Apparently that isn't the case with camera tickets, but it seems I should have a good case being within 2 minutes of 7pm.
Any ideas how how to word the dispute for the best chance of dismissal? (I have not had much success with disputing in the past...)

section 1111-c, because the operator of the vehicle stood, parked or entered a bus lane during the restricted hours and did not make

he never said his clock was 7:01 he claimed that in actuality he was shy but
Speak and say I know inn reality I was shy of 7 but my watch clock car etc is not set to atomic time and hence the 2 min error
How are you required to have atomic time in a car that has a analog clock?

Clearly this should be over ruled since it was out of your control.

 To top it all the bus lane camera for all you know is delayed 2 minutes.. having a lawyer on such a case would of had it dismissed long ago!

Are you serious? A lawyer for a camera ticket? There are no points with those tickets, it's all about generating revenue for the city without raising taxes.

How much would you have to pay a lawyer to get a $50 (IINM) ticket dismissed?

ETA: I know someone who works on getting tickets dismissed, he charges 50% of fine if successful, and nothing if not successful.

vicious is not the word, how can one take such a job? Knowing that I'm getting up each day to cause 100 people's lives miserable today. And then go home to his family and relax and back to bed to get strength to continue his job to ruin another X amount of people's day.

Look at those who have this job. Do they look like people who would otherwise qualify for anything else? You rarely see cops giving such tickets. I seriously view the street cleaners (Simcha Felder's Project Sweep etc.) as more respectable human beings.

Anyone have any good excuses to get out of a double parking ticket of a non-commercial vehicle ? It was double parked on a school block in Brooklyn because they was alternate side parking in effect, and everyone double parks at those hours anyway.

if you were dropping your small kids off in the school, and now you could not park in front of the school for 2 min to take my kid up because of asp and of course didn't want to get in the way of the sweeping trucks so doubled parked for a second to run up to my son's class and come right back to a nice big present for taking my kid safely into class.
 I think such an excuse would be dismissed but don't know all the details by you.
