National Executive Elite status via Amex Platinum
« on: March 28, 2012, 09:38:29 AM »
Can anyone confirm if you need to keep your Amex platinum card on the emerald profile to maintain executive (elite) status, or will any card be fine?

accutuly you don't to have a platinum card to get executive ( not elite ) you just send them a email that you have a plat card with Amex I don't think they verify. And also you don't lose it if you cancel your plat card .

BTW. I just rented from Enterprise. Had no idea about the Executive until I saw this post right before I went to pick up the car. I told the guy I applied and showed him the plat, and he gave me an upgrade.

For national or Enterprise it worked for you? What car did you reserve/end up getting?

Lol. Was thinking the same thing.

True story:
I told my Israeli Avis agent that my brother was getting married, he told me that he would hook him up big time. I asked what type of car, and he said "Malibu"

Are you sure? On the website it lists an Avalon as premium.
