Ah cool, quick google search turned up that the VZW iPad has quad band GSM as well as CDMA radios. Cool.

Contracts are illegal i Israel since 01/12. These are all for post-paid, no contract plans. Cellcom does have a pay-as-go option, but it cost a lot more.

When in the US, is there any way at all to get unlimited data (including the possibility of getting service from some other carrier, not one of the three mentioned above)?

Finally, what's the best site to buy from to maximize points/cashback earning?

Since every plan is a month to month plan. With ATT you can just activate it and deactivate it using the same aim card. With Verizon however when ever you reactive it, you have to go into a Verizon store and get a new SIM card.
