Product Description

Halel Cabernet Sauvignon is made from grapes of the same name which grow in a small vineyard. The wine is aged for fourteen months in French Oak casks. The taste contains hints of bittersweet chocolate, blueberries and other berries. It is a full bodied wine with a long finish. The wine is ready for drinking eighteen months after the grape harvest. Tanyas Halel Cabernet Sauvignon recently won two gold medals; the 2007 Eshkol Hazahav a competition of Israeli wines, as well a gold medal at the Venus competition in Argentina

From all friends of mine who drank this wine this Purim this wine is really smooth and geshmak me personally hate wine even when I see it in the bottle so I can only tell u what they say

Actually, I just came back from Israel yesterday. We had this wine on our first Shabbat in Jerusalem and really enjoyed it. We bought ours from a wine & liquor shop near the shuk. Unfortunately, we didn't get any to bring back. I did a search for the wine on google and this thread was in the results, along with a result for an online store. The online store was down for maintenance and it hadn't appeared that anyone bought the wine in this thread. So, I asked.

Sorry if that offends anyone; it was an honest question. After letting our bottle breathe a bit, it was very nice.

Been a longtime reader; this was just my first post.

Update: my mistake. We had the Tanya Halel 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon at Papagaio; we had Isaac's Ram from the Hebron Heights winery for Shabbat. Still, the Halel was very enjoyable.

This forum didn't come up until the second page of google search, while there were at least 3 websites on the first page that were easy checkout pages for the wine...

Thank you! My search was on Google for Tanya Halel Sale. This was surely on the first page of results and probably no more than about halfway down the page. I don't get why people are being so incredibly rude to me. The OP made no mention of the wine being sold or no longer available, so I just asked a simple question. Never figured people would be that touchy about replying to a fairly recent post on a message board!
