I think you just have to have a credit card linked to your account .. Either way you can log into your account online and do it in a second ...

I always use a website called way.com and type in ewr parking. The cheapest ones maybe a little shady looking but I have used them before and they are all fine ...

You can also check groupon. Make sure to check the blackout dates on the groupon parking though, as a lot of random days are blacked out...

If you live close by it may be cheaper to just use uber/lyft.

I've been very happy with SNAP parking, used them multiple times. they almost always have a groupon available.

Just FYI T&C say you still need to pay 15% taxes + $6 port authority fee.

for over 24 hours

I paid $6 on top of the groupon. they did not charge taxes. this was yesterday.

In Airport parking (economy lot) is 18$ for up to 24 hours (there is a possibility that a coupon for 4$ will work with it but prob not) off airport parking is cheaper but they have a flat fee that they add to your total so for 1 day it will be close to the 18$ I would personally go with the airport parking as it is easier and basically the same price (I also found it easier to put it on my Ez pass then pay for it but that's just me ..)
