Got a message saying to call in right away to make sure they meet my purchasing needs. Worth it to call, or just wait and see?
Closed now but call. Started to ask income questions but I told her I just want to reallocate credit. Few minutes later approved. Same for spouse and did both on same call.

Yep, I tried last night and they were dead, I probably wouldn't have been approved but I should have applied anyway. Eh, you win some, you lose some.

The Fairmont CC is not subject to Chase's 5/24.  I am over 5/24 and would not qualify for a lot of chase cards.  But I was approved for the Fairmont card in January using Doctor of Credit's now dead links.

I'm very happy for you, I'm not sure what your point is though.

How does him getting approved have any relevance to whether or not I would have been?

You mentioned that you probably won't be approved.  If the 5/24 was your headache, the Fairmont card wouldn't have have been a problem because it was not subject to the 5/24 rule.

Why are you assuming that 5/24 was my issue?

Why not ask in the buying and selling thread?
