Chase Freedom Exclusives
« on: September 13, 2012, 10:06:54 PM »
I have a Chase Freedom card that I am currently enrolling (still in SM stages) in Exclusives to be linked to my chase checking account.

If my wife gets her own Freedom card (worth it for the $100 credit), can she link hers also; or is it limited to one Freedom per Checking account?

Also, if somebody could help with the math it would be appreciated: I have a AMEX Blue Preferred that gives 6% back on groceries as well as a Chase Freedom MC and AMEX SPG. I know it's worthwhile to use the Freedom for small purchases.

When is the amount where it is more beneficial to use the AMEX than the Freedom?

Thanks.

You can have more than 1 feedom cards linked to one checking account as long both are listed as the account holder (joint).
No need to SM, it gets linked automatically within a few months.
Its more than $100, you can get matched to 30k points which could be worth $500.

How do I get matched to 30K? I haven't seen an ad for that.

I'm assuming I could tell them that others have seen it. Or is there something more convincing.

What is the spending limit for the 30k?

Also, I saw some people were able to get the Exclusives retroactively. Any advice on that?

Is there an issue with charging a lot of small amounts to this card to receive the bonus points?  Does chase have an issue with clients taking advantage of the program?

While on the topic, any idea which card/cards will rack up the most points for:
1. Utilities
2. Equipment
3. Advertising (google ad words)

3. Amex business gold.

Is it better than the Chase Ink card?

For advertising, yes.
Of course it might still vary by your specific needs, what you plan on doing with the points.
But that's general talk.
