Yeh because then the regular ppl won't have a car. I tried explaining to her that she could take a car from executive aisle and put it in the standard. What can we expect from a shavrtzeh

Racism aside....

That is pretty funny. But maybe they were running out of regular cars ? Either way it seems backward to me. Better to give an upgrade to a regular and let the executive elite be happy as well.

I returned a car to Avis in Shefa this week and the guy in front of me pulled up with both his front tires blown out by those spikes they have at the entrance to the parking lot. He just drove right over them. The check in guys had no clue how to even move the car out of the return line.

It happens to be that when the sun is shining it is very hard to see the exit and entry lane signs at shefa. He was a tourist and just went straight over...

ROFL, a shame coney island doesn't have spikes; would be great to do that on a car with LDW.

Years ago I had a reservation set for a Sun pickup in the summer.  I think I reserved a minivan because we were taking our family on a road trip.  When I got there Sun morning they had an SUV for me.  The only vehicle they had with enough seats.  (I've since realized that many cars that are scheduled to be returned on sun are kept longer as their renters extend their weekend out.  So now I try to rent on Fri if I need a car Sun morning.)  So I reluctantly take this giant car home to load up. 
In Boro Park I already realized that the automatic steering was bad, but when I called them to complain they could only offer to cancel the reservation because they had nothing else.  I kept the car rather than cancel my planned family vacation.  Driving on the highways wasn't bad, but my arms were sore by the end of vacation from the work it took to turn the wheel.  Parking was a horrendous!  U-turns were a nightmare! 
Needless to say no compensation. "You knew when you took it."  Then again I was a wimp before being empowered by Dan and my new found knowledge of CS magic.

worst experience i had was at Hertz in JFK at night when theres that one jamaican guy that works there and gave me lots of attitude and was a real shmuck!
