Citi TY Preferred Card Master Thread
« on: April 06, 2012, 03:20:11 PM »
Hopefully we are past all the cash back vs. points/miles discussion. With the rumored changes coming for TYP’s this could be a killer for all of us (cash back/miles/points crowd).

If that works for you then that is what you should do. This card/thread would not be in your best interest.

Wow! I can't believe Citi released another 5% unlimited card. I've still got a few months left on my AARP card, but this can be a nice replacement.

Any possibility to combine it with 40k-50k signup bonus?

If Citi does allow you to transfer TYP’s to airlines this will be the most abused CC in history. It will be on every forum/blog. It will make the old CR card and the AARP card look like kids play. This also has the potential to end with massive AA (A/A for DDF).

Just a friendly bump. Citi states the offer will be pulled 5/3.

They refused me when I asked them to apply it to my card that I received the 50k on.

I can't imagine ppl abusing a card just to receive miles or money. We're all better than that.
