Best use for Hyatt "Platinum Extras" Certificates?
« on: March 23, 2011, 10:29:43 AM »
I received a couple of "Platinum Extras" Certificates from Hyatt together with our new Gold Passport Platinum membership cards.  Can anyone suggest a good use for these certificates, considering that I only eat kosher? My next trip is to the Park Hyatt in Paris, so I'm also limited to the worldwide options.

Each certificate offers a choice of the following:
- Complimentary Food and Beverage Amenity (choice provided at time of check-in)
- 1,000 Bonus Points for Dining (Lunch or Dinner)
- Regency Club Upgrade (valid in US and Canada only; not valid at Hyatt Resorts)

Thanks for your help

To unearth an old thread, I'm curious about this as well. I wonder what is entailed in "lunch or dinner." If I only ordered a drink from the bar at dinner time, would it work? what about an on site coffee shop that sells bottled drinks, packaged chips and such, would that qualify for the bonus?
