Chase checking promos just use a one time use number code, I received a $200 one and used it for my girlfriend no problem.

not my banker. I said I will only open account for exclusives when he finds a promo code for me and he said I should wait till I get one in the mail because he cannot get any. He figured I would get one due to my new freedom and sapphire.

IME, Chase counts Amazon Payments and Paypal deposits as DD, so if you get a good offer that requires DD, I wouldn't worry about it.
