Will this work:

Sign up for BA and Hyatt today.

Then next year instead of paying 95$ fee, I switch the credit line to the Hyatt card.

Will it work? Will I be able to keep the Avoios?

There is so much more to getting approved for cards than just how many you have from that bank in the last few months.

Very true. Chase keeps on mentioning that I have many new accounts at other banks.

When did you open the card? Just curious when the fee normally hits, I have had the card for a couple of weeks. Tried to SM for fee waiver and failed but want it to hit before I SM again.

I can check later.... But for starters it was on my first statement...

My 1st statement is closing on Nov. 3rd. The fee didn't show yet.

How many days before the statement closed did it show?

on my first statement - the fee showed up the day the statement closed

Probably going to have it cancelled anyway, in order to get some other cards approved.
