I guess it's ymmv how long it takes, it's over 2 weeks since spend maybe after statement closes.
I called chase when my 30k posted (10/27), they obviously said that they can't do anything to expedite, but it did show up ~10 days after (11/06). my next statement closed 11/21. Maybe the call did help.

Are you sure?
"Bonus is not available to current cardholders or pervious cardmembers of this card who received a new cardmember bonus in the past 24 months."
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

Right. The argument can be made that the next 50k is part of the opening bonus as well...

Is it necessary to close an old EC account before creating a new one? And, is a new physical address and email address enough for creating a new account (if the old account is still open)?

Has anyone had any luck waiving the annual fee for the second year? (I got the first year free with the promo.) Just got charged the annual fee and want to cancel the card if I have to pay it. If I do have to cancel, anyone know if the card is able to be downgraded to a Freedom or something else?

They took a month to get me my card.  The AF posted before I had it.  I sent a SM that I believed charging an AF, annual being 12 months when I was only going to get 11 months usage was unfair.  Received a statement credit for full amount.
