Limited time offer till 3/31/15 (50K, annual fee waived for 1st year): http://www.dansdeals.com/go/BA4

YMMV (since Aug. '14, no one on this thread has reported successfully getting a better offer than the regular 50k (AF waived) offer linked above):
SM Chase before and/or after getting the card and they will often waive the $95 yearly fee for the first year.
SM Chase before and/or after getting the card and they will match to the offer to get 50,000 bonus Avios for spending $2,000, another 25,000 bonus Avios after you make $10,000 in purchases within the first year of account opening., and another 25,000 bonus Avios after you make an additional $10,000 in purchases also within the first year of account opening.
Total bonus Avios for $20K spend=100,000
Total Avios for base spending at 1.25 Avios per dollar spent=25K.
Total Avios=125K.

Good point. Here's my question: Does Chase have any problem approving a BA card to someone who just had it, and has several UR cards. They've been very tough lately on UR cards.

5/24 rule doesn't seem to apply to 3rd party cards such as UA and BA

Thanks. I'm planning on applying for the United card in a few months. Is it worth waiting to do it together with the BA card as a 2BM, or do United first, or it's irrelevant? Thanks!

Is having the ba only once every 24 months a strict rule?

I just cancelled by BA card. The rep mentioned that in 30 days my reward points will be no more. Any truth to that?

Most reports around here are that if you use a different FFN, you'll be fine. I've never tried it though.

Yes, but it doesn't change what they can see.

Hey,
I read the last few pages here about churning the card..
A friend told me Chase is stricter when it comes to this card..
I would like to close mine and reapply before April (DoC got me worried) Its been over 24 months since i got the 50k..
So i wanna reapply using my current FFN,

Any recent data points about closing and reopening recently?
