The promotion code you requested is not available, and you are therefore on the default promotion code
Huh? Does that make sense to you?

Just needed to remove the space after the copy/paste.
Makes sence otherwise, the default promo, is probably some referal code.

I have this card and have reached 100,000 miles and gained a companion ticket.

I'd like to use this for a flight with the fiance, possibly for our honeymoon, but I've had a horrible time searching flights out of Houston through the British Airways website.

Please let me know if you been able to book a flight out of Houston or surrounding area using British airways miles. Any tricks i'm missing out on?

I believe this companion pass has to actually be on BA flights (not partners) so that BA website would be the place to check.  I'd just also pick up the phone and call their rep and ask them if there are better times or what the issue is since there is a direct flight from IAH-LHR on BA.

Is it still possible to sm and get AF waived on chase BA card? If not, if you cancel after getting the points, will chase strip the points?

anything is possible but it's unlikely. And once the points are in your BA account they are safe.

Airline/hotel points in your account don't get lost when closing the card.

We signed up for and got the 100k deal last year, but did not jump on the last 5k till the last month. The af.has nut dropped again, for the new year. We spent the 5k in the last month. So will the last avios drop after the strategy? Along with the spend points as well, or did we miss it somehow?? Tia

If I cancel my card do I lose the Avios? I have the BA card and the AF is due. I am thinking to transfer my line to a different card and cancel the card. but have about 60k avios and don't want to lose it.

TIA

Subject to BA's expiration policy obviously.
