If you got the card within the last 3 months just ask to be matched. They shouldn't give you an issue.

Yes... instead of spending 20K to get 50K avios, you can spend 20K to hit the thresholds of probably 7-8 cards and get 200K+ miles!!

I have a feeling that you may have had to have booked a flight on BA at some point while the offer was available to get matched for the one year anniversary offer. Sorry if you guys didn't have any luck otherwise, but it was worth a try.

i saw this on other sites and im suprised i dont see it here
if you try to get the ba card through chase theystill offer the 50,000 (and i see that they charge 95 so i guess that promotion is up)
but if you go through ba site they offer the same plus if you spend 20,000 in the first year you get another 50,000 (which means 70,000) all in all geting you 120,000!!!
anyone know if you could ask chase to match this if you already get the free first year promotion?
and if they match it would they charge you the first year retroactively?
